• Caravans

    Traders, travellers, tribes, Danites, Ishmael.

U.S. Republican politicians are always, using this illustration to provoke anger about the immigration issues on the Mexican border and one like to refer to the hoards in the caravan convoy, which most sensible people know is a downright lie?

Today there are still traders in the Sahel of N-Africa trading everything from spices to slaves, even some Gypsies are involved in serious exploitation of woman and the vulnerable, but this is equally the same for the gorgers.

    Genesis 37:25, Job 6:18-19, Isaiah 21:13, Matthew 8:20, Luke 9:58.

  • Under the bushes!

    Hagar.

God provided, when Abraham had to ask her to leave.

The child was provided for from under the bush, a place of despair for Hagar. Even this child of human flesh and will was still cared for?

To understand the full meaning of this account, must include the New Testament being fulfilled!

    Genesis 16:1-16, 21:8-17, 25:12, Galatians 4:21-25.

  • Gods fruit, our Fruit?

A summertime of sharing our Faith!

The question is will we and should we, but we must since this is how the Ekklesia is growing world-wide and we as believers cannot make excuses or delay Gods will for us.

God created trees that bore seed and they were sown so that they could spread, we in light of Jesus’ salvation are seeds that will grow and spread our faith to others who are lost around us, wither in our own communities or outside?

    Genesis 1:11-12, Matthew 13:23, Philippians 4:17.

Be serious this summer time to make the opportunities and see God moving

  • A tented Peoples!

May people do not understand that in times past many travellers lived in Tents?

We are told in the Holy Bible that Jabal was the first leader to live in tents. Genesis 4:20.

Abraham left in a train of animals wagons and tents to go by faith to the promised land and so many peoples have lived in tents or temporary shelters as well as caravan or covered wagons.

The tent is a feature throughout the scriptures, worth a good bible study for your self. Song of Songs 1:5.

And last of all the tent is mentioned in the book of Hebrews 11:9-10.

  • Pentecost!

    Carrying our own Fruit?

What kind of fruit are we making each day of our New Life with Jesus or is our tree, us not sharing our hope and faith in God.

Some of us may feel not good enough, others to proud to lover our selves, these are all deceptions of Satan to stop us and thus the tree withers and dies and is cast into the fire!

We are trees that produce fruit that is the fulness of the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives, having little or no fear of people and the ways of the world, since we are free of all that crappy past, whatever it was?

    Proverbs 11:30, Romans 11:16, Philippians 1:9-11, James 3:9-10.

  • Carry your own Stake!

    Bearing with Me?

The marks and quality of a good believer in Jesus is one who is prepared to follow and carry their own stake/cross?

It is hard to be a believer, going to fellowship, singing and dancing, may bring mush relief in the oasis of midweek meetings and house groups or Sunday worship, but they are not the cover of being in another club?

It is in between that the value of bearing is to be tested and performed at home, school, work, retirement and in prison! In how we cope with difficult people, our children, enemies, authority, and disability, dementia and loss?

    Matthew 10:38, 16:24, Luke 14;27, John 19:17.

  • Foxes have Holes?

    The requirements for following Jesus!

Many Christian leaders today have lost the real meaning of the Gospel message, since wealth and comfort have replaced trust.

The insurance policy, the need to live in a fixed place hinder those in mission, while the building to worship in is also fixed and not mobile?

When the Jewish people were in the wilderness their Tabernacle was a mobile caravan, controlled by those appointed to be responsible for it!

Jesus gave this fact about Himself that He had no home, sometimes a guest, but then He had to move on! He told those sent out to take what they only needed and to be aware, they might be in his circumstances, much as the Apostle Paul would be later in his mission to Asia and Europe!

    Matthew 8:20, Mark 6:8, Luke 9:56 (57-62).

  • The tree of Cursing!

    An alternative Easter Account?

What took place on the cross/stake/tree could be termed the divine exchange, when Jesus took the full cursing of the Law of God onto His body for us, so that all who believe are set free from that curse!

Jesus was innocent and perfect as a human man, but He died with murderers and thus was classed with them and the ritualism of Judaism to their own Law, of which technically they had broken by their own hypocrisy!

This essential truth is one of several that Jesus fulfilled and that sets us free from the need of another to intercede for us, or that we are bound to go too?

    Galatians 3:13, Deuteronomy 4:29, 21:22-23, John 19:31, Hebrews 9:23-28, 10:10. Revelation 3:20.

  • Samson and Esther!

    People of Faith.

Samson in his day was perhaps considered to be unwise in his conduct, yet he always knew he was in Gods plan for the enemies of Israel!

    Judges 13:1-5, 16:1-2, Hebrews 11:32.

Meanwhile in the book of Esther God is never mentioned, but what we learn from this young Jewish woman was she put faith into action at the right time and thus saved her race from being wiped out by one jealous man!

    Esther 2:1-18, 9:13-32.

We can even mention the mention the Apostle Paul being warned not to go to Jerusalem by the Prophet Agabus, but Paul knew his destiny!

    Acts 21:10-14.

  • Noah.

    Building the Ark!

What do we discover about this man prior to the great flood, one that he was a carpenter and a designer and he with his sons had the ability to take a major construction build in world of of violence and hatred!

God commanded him to use gopher wood and pitch to make this giant ship, as the locals laughed at him.

This the one and only time that the Hebrew word Gopher is used in the whole of the Holy scriptures and many believe that it might be Cyprus wood, but we cannot be certain since all the trees of that world were crushed by the weight of the flood waters.

    Genesis 6:14-19, 14.

After the flood we see the eight people were wanderers in the current Earth, but again we cannot be certain of their status in the world that was before?
